1、 Clarify the core standards for compliance assessment
General industry standard: According to ISO 10816-3 standard, the effective values of vibration velocity in the horizontal, vertical, and axial directions of the bearing seat of ordinary industrial blowers are qualified with a threshold of ≤ 4.5mm/s, and some high-precision working conditions require ≤ 2.8mm/s.
The equipment comes with its own standards: The factory manual of the multi-stage centrifugal blower will indicate the exclusive vibration qualification threshold. The conventional requirement is that the bearing amplitude should be ≤ 0.04mm and the effective value of the vibration velocity should be ≤ 40mm/s. The original factory standards of the equipment should be prioritized as the basis for judgment.
Adaptation standards for working conditions: In heavy-duty continuous operation scenarios such as sewage treatment and mining, a vibration value that remains stable at ≤ 7.1mm/s for a long time is within an acceptable range. If it exceeds 11.2mm/s, it is considered to be seriously exceeding the standard and must be shut down for maintenance.
2、 On site testing and verification operation method
Measurement point arrangement: Use a vibration meter to arrange measurement points in the horizontal, vertical, and axial directions of the bearing seat, ensuring that the sensor is firmly attached to the surface of the measurement point and avoiding measurement errors.
Data collection: Collect the effective value of vibration velocity at the rated working condition and rated speed of the blower, continuously collect 3 sets of data and take the average value to eliminate the interference of instantaneous working condition fluctuations.
Numerical comparison: Compare the measured average value with the corresponding standard threshold. If it is below the threshold, it is considered to meet the standard. If it exceeds the threshold, it is judged that the vibration value does not meet the standard.
3、 Fault characteristics for auxiliary verification
If there is a high-frequency impact signal in the vibration spectrum that is not an integer multiple, and the envelope analysis shows obvious harmonic frequencies of the bearing fault characteristic frequency, even if the effective value of the vibration speed does not exceed the standard, it indicates that the bearing has suffered early damage and the vibration state no longer meets the requirements for long-term stable operation.
During operation, if there is abnormal metal friction noise and local temperature rise exceeding 70 ℃ in the bearing area, even if the measured vibration value appears to meet the standard, it can still be determined that the bearing is operating abnormally, and the vibration value is actually in a hidden state of exceeding the standard.
