The current effective and mandatory national standard is GB 28381-2012 "Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Evaluation Values for Centrifugal Blowers". Although the new version of GB 28381-2026 was released on March 31, 2026, its official implementation date is April 1, 2027. Therefore, on May 22, 2026, GB 28381-2012 remains the only legally binding energy efficiency management basis, and all production, sales, and procurement activities must comply with the requirements of this standard.

The core basis for industry manufacturing and acceptance is JB/T 7258-2025 "General Purpose Centrifugal Blowers", which will fully replace the old version JB/T 7258-2006 from November 1, 2025.
